SERENA BALLET SCHOOL had a day of fun on 04.05.2010. The students not only performed their dances but there were projects beautifully done.......eg......Eiffel Tower & Big Ben by Celine Ho's Daddy (ssshhhhh......)
Parthenon by Jeremie Gan (first time he did his own project - Well Done!!!)
Gigantic box (small note: with sponsorship on costumes by Jen Ni) by Kristy (tried to outdo everyone by size)
Calendar by Michelle Lim (lovely idea)
Lots of scrap books and projects (too beautiful to describe in words - see pics in Facebook)
The highlight was italian lunch prepared by....- Teoh Diane's Mum - Panettone (a type of bread) - was delicious to the power of 10 .................... she said next week will make some more (I am sure I heard correctly!)
- Zoe Tan - Rosemary crackers with sesame, Kinder Beuno & Expresso. Oh the Expresso has so many versions (Ameleen takes hers so "kao" - like Chinese medicine. Kristy made hers like drinking syrup - so sweet!)
- Kristy Yong - made the main course (spaghetti bolognese) - yummy and came in "big portion"!
- Janice Low - Tiramisu - sweet and nice (very, very slim portion)
Special mention to the tea by........
- Alycia Steven - Greek Coconut Cake with Syrup (she made it herself)
- Sherlyn Yong - Cream Horn (bought from Fruity)
Thanks also to Pai Kut King for the lovely Chinese meal. We appreciate your kindness!!!!
Till we meet again for next year's exam - happy dancing. Well Done students for all your effort. Oh ya, Thanks Jen Ni for doing the music and Ameleen for helping with hair-do. Thanks everyone for making the exams a really enjoyable day!!!!!!
